Global Account Director - Leader in IIOT / Industrial Automation
THE CLIENT
Due to the continued expansion of the sales organisation our client needed to hire an additional Global Account Director based in Europe to grow the sales within one their strategically important accounts.
THE ROLE & ITS CHALLENGES
Due to the rapid expansion of the sales team, it was vital that a dedicated global account manager was appointed to focus on the growth of a priority account. There was plenty of opportunity for growth and to strategically move into the growth areas that we were not currently being addressed. The candidate needed to demonstrate an affinity with driving strategy and sales through salespeople globally.

THE SOLUTION AND RESULT
A briefing meeting with our client provided the information we needed on the role requirements, the challenges the company have found, and the current position of the company with the priority account.
Having identified all the main competitors in this space we started to map out the employees that had the desired level of experience, and demonstrable history in managing, defining strategy and growing large global accounts, identifying a total of 48 Candidates.
Through our tailored outreach programme, we were able to generate a very high level of engagement and organised initial screening calls.
We submitted three great candidates to the client, all of which they chose to interview. One candidate was progressed to a final interview and thus was offered the position, which was accepted.
